Dr. Chiann Fan-Gibson

Dr. Gibson is a graduate of Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA where she was a Merit Scholar and received “Excellence Awards” in both Operative Dentistry and Prosthodontics. Dr. Gibson was also a clinical instructor at Tufts in The Department of Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Gibson is an author, having furthered her continuing education in all aspects of dentistry, especially in Cosmetic Dentistry, (The Center For Esthetic Excellence In Chicago, The Hornbrook Center for Advanced Clinical Education Ultimate Occlusion and Advanced Continuum on Cosmetic Dentistry - Honors Graduate – only 1% of dentists nationwide graduate from this type of advanced training). She is also Invisalign certified.

Dr. Gibson Is A Published Author and Featured Speaker. She writes A Bi-weekly Column "Open Wide" For The Naperville Sun Times Newspaper and has had articles published in Dental Magazines. As A Speaker And Presenter, She's Spoken At The Chicago Dental Society, California Dental Society and American Dental Association's Scientific Sessions

In 1998 Donald Trump, co-owner of Miss Universe, Inc., bestowed on Dr. Gibson the honorary title of "Official Dentist of Miss Universe”. Mr. Trump states that Dr. Gibson is “A dedication to the profession…and that ability to create that perfect smile.” As a former Washington’s Junior Miss, Miss Washington USA, and Mrs. United States 2005-2006, Dr. Gibson has established herself with numerous high profile and celebrity clients.

Dr. Gibson is a member of: The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), The Illinois State Dental Society (ISDS), The Chicago Dental Society (CDS), The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), Fox Valley Dental Society (FVDS), The American Dental Association (ADA) and the American Association of Women Dentists (AAWD). Dr. Gibson was featured on the cover of the 2006 September issue of the American Association of Women Dentists magazine.

In 2006 Dr. Gibson was honored as 1 of only 66 “Distinguished Delta Alumni” (Tri-Delta Sorority) in its 108-year history. She joins other Honorees including Katie Couric, Senator Elizabeth Dole, Dixie Carter Catherine Crier, Deborah Norville & Molly Simms. Dr. Gibson is married to Emmy Award winning TV host and business entrepreneur Jim Gibson. The Gibsons currently reside in Sugar Grove Illinois.
